Using a Touchscreen Controller:

Choose Your Sharing Method
This is the main method for sharing content in a Zoom Room:
- Wirelessly (via Zoom app or AirPlay)
A) Sharing Wirelessly Using the Zoom App (iPad or Computer):
- Tap Share Content on your iPad or Zoom Room touchscreen controller.
- A prompt with the Meeting ID and instructions will appear on the screen.
- Open the Zoom app on your iPad or computer and join the same meeting (you don’t need to enable audio or video).
- Select Share Screen in the Zoom app and enter the Meeting ID shown in the room display.
- You can now select what content to share from your iPad (e.g., your screen, photos, documents).
Note:
- On iPad, you can share an entire screen or specific apps such as Photos, Safari, or any presentation app.
- When sharing, you can control the flow and zoom in/out on specific sections.
B) Sharing Wirelessly Using AirPlay (for iOS Devices):
- Tap Share Content on your iPad or Zoom Room touchscreen controller.
- A prompt will appear showing the AirPlay name for the Zoom Room.
- On your iOS device (iPhone or iPad), swipe down from the upper-right corner to open the Control Center.
- Tap Screen Mirroring and select the Zoom Room AirPlay device that matches the name on the screen.
- Enter the AirPlay code that appears on the Zoom Room display to start mirroring your device.
Step 3: Managing Shared Content
Pause or Stop Sharing:
- On iPad: Tap the Stop Sharing or Pause Share button in the Zoom Rooms Controller app.
- On Touchscreen Controller: Tap the Stop Share button on the screen to end sharing. To pause the share, tap the Pause button.
Annotate Shared Content (Zoom Rooms for Touch-enabled Displays):
- If you’re using a Zoom Room with a touch display, you can annotate directly on the shared content by selecting the Annotate option.
- Use the pen, highlighter, or shape tools to draw or highlight key points.
Step 4: Ending Content Sharing
When you’re done presenting:
- Tap the Stop Sharing button on the Zoom Rooms Controller (iPad or touchscreen) to end the content share.
- The Zoom Room will return to the standard meeting interface, allowing you to continue the discussion or share new content.
Tips:
- AirPlay: Ensure that your iOS device and Zoom Room are on the same network for AirPlay to work.
- Zoom App Sharing: For smoother sharing, make sure the Zoom app on your iPad or laptop is updated to the latest version.
